♥ Basics

These rules are the simplest of simple, basic rules to be followed, primary stuff. You only really need to skim these over, for they are, like the obvious states, basic.

1.) PRETTY DARNED SIMPLE, don't be a stranger. Heart and Soul was meant to be fun, entertaining, and very laid back. We range from the newborn writers to the sky-high role playing overlords. Emphasis on 'newborn'. We're friendly here, happy here! Don't be shy to ask any questions, no matter how stupid they may sound.

2.) OBVIOUSLY OBVIOUS, please, please don't be rude in any way. I know we all have our bad moods, but there is absolutely no need to take that out on others, you hear? If any fighting arises about race, gender, sexual orientation or religion, PM a mod, DO NOT TRY TO TAKE CARE OF IT YOURSELF. If there is anything else you don't like, PM a staffer, and once again, DO NOT try to take care of the situation yourself - it will probably just get you in trouble.

3.) JUMP UP, and DO something! If you register, please actually try your best to be active, to be nice, and friendly, to be known! Plot with others, PM them, speak in the chat box, ANYTHING that will keep you active here! If you know you're going to be absent for awhile, please post in the Notices board!

4.) CHILL OUT, and be respectful. This may seem a bit redundant of rule number two, but this is a bit different. This rule is not stating to be kind in general, but specifically to staff and about site opinions! If you don't like something about Heart and Soul, PM a staffer politely, or make yourself heard in a non-obnoxious and appropriate way in the chat box, do NOT start a riot!

5.) ONE LAST THING, it looks a bit messy to have numbers in your username, and also a bit childish. Try not to have a username about a TV show, or a book, as that's kind of childish as well. Try to have a one-word username, perhaps, the name of your main character or a cool word like 'enchanted' or something. I'm not trying to be so strict as to limit your username choices, all that this rule is really here for is to discourage numbers!

♥ Characters

1.) THE FORM, please use it! If you don't like something about it politely PM a staffer, and if you wish to add anything just do so and we will approve/disapprove of it in your form.

2.) WE ACCEPT, the simplest of forms. Like earlier stated, this site is for all-around writers, and as long as your character form provides a decent look at your character, you're good.

3.) HOLD YOUR HORSES, and take a look at your bio. Make sure you've filled everything out:

Gender, Name, Age and Breed,
Personality, Appearance and History,
It is a horse, [not a unicorn, and no rainbow coats or anything of the sort.]

4.) HEY THERE, where do you think you're going? You can't role play until a staffer accepts your bio! Be patient; we'll get to is ASAP.

5.) FOALS, it is appreciated if characters are no younger than one year of age, unless it has a foster mother[played by a different member] or was born on the site.

6.) BREEDING, keep this stuff PG, guys. No one wants their eyes to end up dead on the floor from some explicit mating scene; one word for you, sick. If you do have characters that have mated, PM a staffer to go over things.

ONE LAST THING,

there will occasionally be openings to open up a herd, with only two openings at a time. If you get picked, voted on by other users, you can choose where you want your herd's territory to be, and even request a new territory/sub-board. Just ask! These openings will be posted in the Welcome area.
